Desserts to Die for...

For for a special treat for someone very special we spent a day at the Agrarian Kitchen attending a masterclass all about Desserts! The Agrarian Kitchen is a fabulous way to spend a day or two if you love old fashioned principles of good eating. Rodney and Séverine have created a wonderful food experience.

Inevitably, with my camera handy, I became a little bit distracted by all the gorgeous vintage pieces and gorgeous kitchen...

Lunch was delicious and matched with Tasmanian wine.
Oh, in case you were wondering these are the Desserts we made with the master Alistair Wise..."Chocolate Oriol" (brownie; coffee macaron, chocolate icecream; chocolate mousse, Cocoa nib Nougatine)

Apricot souffle with almonds and amaretto ice cream.

Slow cooked quince with pedro Ximenez glee, creme catalan, honey granita.
