Warning !!!

Walking. It is supposed to be good for you. Good for your health. (maybe, maybe not read on!)

Personally, I love walking. I love to wander about in this beautiful part of the world that live in (I have also been known to visit distant shores to climb an active volcano, whilst it is "erupting", but that is for another post. maybe)

There is one thing that distracts. Those weird little warning signs posted all about my home state.  You see,  I am just not sure they are completely necessary.

I am all for hidden dangers being pointed out, you know the sort of information that locals have regarding a place that new visitors should be aware of. On the other hand, some dangers are just obvious. Aren't they?!

Public liability gone mad? Amusing joke signs? Important public safety announcements?

Whatever your take, here are some of my favourites from my recent wanderings...

It is amazing, all those warnings, and I wonder how many people read them.

Climbing an active volcano sounds very interesting!

Have a lovely evening. xxxx

Oh I thought you were in Sydney for some reason...

I have to laugh I saw a sign that was quite ridiculous the other day,. but of course I've forgotten what the heck it was. haha ... old age..

So that beach shot is lovely. I like the way you have the sign obscuring the view... which of course is exactly what it does!! darn signs

Also laughed about your noise intolerance comment. I am exactly the same and still wear ear plugs too.. .. bloody people.. bloody signs!! [can I say bloody here? hehehe ... delete this comment if I can't]

Have a fab week ciao xxx Julie

These are funny! Yes, you'd think it'd be common sense but, I guess not. I've found some funny ones around my area too.

Thank you SO much for your kind and sweet comments. I truly appreciate you taking the time. I'm so very glad to have met you. ♥

It is pretty dangerous out there in the world! Maybe we should just all stay home. Oh no! there are stairs and stoves and scissors in the house!

I just love these signs! Maybe there should be signs to tell us which areas are safe for an afternoon walk. Great photos!

Too funny! It makes a pleasant walk in the gorgeous fresh air & pretty surroundings a little unnerving...

This is funny! It looks like you should never set foot outside of your house as danger is around every corner!

love this post!!!

the *soft sand* and the sign suggesting that *tree branches may fall at any given time* made me laugh out loud!!!

it's a little like saying to a child *don't run you might fall over* when they see something as lovely and inviting as a pile of fallen autumn leaves...who cares!! they aren't going to think -thanks mum i won't do it!! they still want to run- and rightly so!

too many signs i think!
very funny!
