A Little Vintage French

Hi! I'm Jessica, a writer from Arcadian Lighting, a wonderful website and blog where you can find beautiful light fixtures and daily interior design inspirations. I'm delighted to be guest posting for Tam today because I'm going to be sharing some lovely interiors with a little vintage French style.

There's nothing more romantic and chic than French decor, and throw in some vintage touches and you've got a very feminine, dreamy atmosphere without having to book a trip to Paris. I hope you enjoy these rooms as much as I do!

Vintage French

A vintage French grain sack turned body pillow gives the room a bit of texture and nostalgia. I love the vanilla colored wall and painted headboard.

Vintage French

This spacious bedroom has a lovely mix of vintage French details that are just petite enough to not overpower the room. The dramatic curtains and female sculpture are tres classique francaise, and there's something bohemian about the unfinished feel of the room.

Vintage French

I love the rustic, industrial furnishings in this room, especially when combined with the polished brass letters that mean “Us” en francaise. The rusty wall lamps must provide some very moody lighting in the evening.

Vintage French

This vignette is at once modern and vintage with its crisp all-white wall and floorboards and the well-worn leather armchair. A graphic print of any French saying, particularly when translating to “I love you very much!” is always a beautiful accent in any room.

Vintage French

This gallery wall of vintage French street posters add so much color and character to the room. The Chesterfield sofa is eye-catching as well.

Vintage French

The very simple table with a vintage tablecloth and bistro folding chairs in this apartment recreate the classic French cafe feel. Mismatched coffee cups and saucers, and of course a bottle of wine, complete the scene. A single pendant light just above the table would really set the mood, as well.

Vintage French

A pair of vintage French doors get a whole new life in those home when set on a track. It's a dramatic and unique way to divide rooms.

Vintage French

This lovely bedroom is particularly feminine and French. I love the pale blue antique dresser and gold accents, not to mention the chic dress form mannequin. Images 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 7 | 8

una mezcla que encaja perfectamente bien. Me encanta la mezcla entre provenzal e industrial, esos toques metálicos en lámparas, letras, sillas... muy buena mezcla.
Feliz fin de semana
