Shoe Candy

Indeed!

Apparently these ankle busters were hand made by Inabilac, a Parisian shoemaker in 1945.  Sigh. Be still my vintage heart. How gorgeous. I am completely smitten.

This is an image from a card I just had to purchase the other day (I think we have previously  discussed my addiction for such things?). Anyway.  The card is from a gorgeous range printed and made in the UK by The Alternative Image Company Ltd. They have a gorgeous range. My favourites are the classic black and white, and the cool jazz greeting cards. They even have some cool film posters. There is also a lovely vintage Christmas collection too.

I found a gorgeous little selection of these cards at a favourite little shop in my town. I think I will have to go back for more!

Now that is some shoe - I am afraid I don't think I would even manage a small walk in those - but totally glam!

I saw a pair like that last night while sitting in Starbucks and even made my husband turn around and look at them! I have never seen anything like it before!
Too cute although I do not think I could pull them off!

My gosh these are outrageously high. I would surely cripple myself within three steps. VERY sexy though and great photo image!

Yikes! There would be many, many sprained ankles if my feet ever got anywhere near a pair like that!
