ok, but don't tell Santa.

And so it begins.

Every year, around this time, I end up buying all sorts of little things for myself when I should be buying for others. All these little parcels start arriving in the mail, or some how end up in my arms after a wander through the shops/markets. I have no self control. Nothing extravagantly expensive mind you, just little things.  But still...
Last year I sheepishly handed over bag of said little things to Mr, and said I think I am done, just wrap these up... : ( (luckily he also purchased Mrs Greedy some lovely little surprises too)

I guess it occurs because while I really am looking for lovely thoughtful gifts for others, I just happen to find perfect said little things for me.

Anyway... recently some gorgeous fabrics from Cabbages and Roses arrived in a pretty little parcel. I am working on a few projects, using these gorgeous fabrics, which I will share soon.

I am off to look for  lovely gifts for others now  ; )  xox

Yes I find that I do this too - too much looking leads to too much spending! plus there are always so many lovely things around at Christmas time (I am a sucker for all those packs they put together!).

Can't wait to see what you are working on!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend :)

My absolute favourite fabrics there. Totally understand the notion of buying for oneself instead of others at this time of year, but when it comes to C & R fabric well...

Can I say I was very amused at this? I can be tempted to do the same thing. One is already in a buying mood and so many distracting goodies are around. Personally, I would LOVE a bag of Cabbages and Roses fabrics. :) You're making me realize that most of the little prezzies I brought back from Paris for others are still very much in my possession.
